Education in the department of trauma and reconstructive surgery is not limited to the resident program. Professor Dr. Steffen Schröter and his team is approved by the worldwide well-known AO Foundation as an official host center (https://www.aofoundation.org/trauma/education/fellowships). Moreover, beside of Traumatology the team is specialized in Sportstrauma, Arthroscopy and deformity correction. Colleagues from all over the world visiting Prof. Dr. Schröter and his team to learn treatment plans and surgical techniques. Mrs. Helmer is the secretary of the fellowship program and coordinates the application and organization process.
